REDUCTION OF GREASE
AirMaid ozone generators significantly reduce grease bulidup in ventilation exhaust ducts. Ozone oxidizes grease to water and dry minerals.
REDUCTION OF ODOURS
All types of cooking create odours. The odours are distributed through the exhaust ducts and do not get caught by conventional filters. To realise a good odour reduction, a reaction time of at least two seconds is needed within the ducts for ozone to react with the odour particles. Longer reaction times can produce even better results, wherein a 75-95% smell reduction is not uncommon.
REDUCTION OF BACTERIA
Bacteria can be found in most ventilation systems, particularly ducts with organic buildups such as from kitchens. With an AirMaid ozone generator installed, these bacteria can be efficiently eliminated and in this way prevent the re-introduction of bacteria into the kitchen.
FIRE SAFETY AND SWEEPING
AirMaid reduces the buildup of soot and combustible materials such as grease in the ducts. This reduces the risk of fire and increases the lifetime of the ventilation system. The frequency of expensive sweeping can therefore be significantly reduced.
TRANSPARENT TO KITCHEN PERSONNEL
AirMaid requires no training or other competence from the personnel in the kitchen. They can concentrate on their duties since the AirMaid system is practically maintenance free.
